Career as a lawyer

lawyer

A lawyer is a professional who is qualified to offer advice about the law or represent someone in legal matters. A lawyer can also be called an attorney, a solicitor, a counselor, a barrister, or — pejoratively — an ambulance chaser.

A lawyer can handle all sorts of legal matters from drafting wills to patent claims to defending people against criminal charges. Qualified lawyers have to attend law school and pass a bar exam in order to practice law. Lawyer, of course, means one who practices the law. "Law" itself comes from the Old Norse root word lag, which means something laid down or fixed.

3 Steps to Become a Lawyer

The law profession is very challenging. When you decide to make it your profession, you have to stick by it like a man because there is no way to survive except you know the filed, and practice it with hard work.

When you enter this field, you come across many challenges, so you must have guts to face them.

This article is mainly written to guide those who want to study law and become a lawyer. There are three fundamental steps that must be done for this

The first one is to get the graduation degree, second is to pass the law school test, and the last one is to pass the bar examination. Let us learn about these in detail given below.

Earn a Bachelor’s Degree

To become a lawyer, the first thing that you need to do is to get a degree of graduation. You can take this in any subject as there is no restriction of having a law background when you apply for law school. However, they require you to have graduation in advance.

It is mostly recommended that a person may not take the law subjects during graduation. However, the subjects must be selected by keeping future law profession in mind. So, the subjects must be chosen like those that improve analytical ability, communication skills, etc.

Pass the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

After completing your bachelor’s degree, your next step towards becoming a lawyer is to take the LSAT.

You are supposed to pass this test to enter the law school. It all depends on your score that in which law school you secure your admission.

It is not easy to pass this test, as you will be tested not on the base of your knowledge in law, but on your ability to handle this profession in the future and to survive in the law school. Your analytical skills are mainly taken into account, and you have to prove them to make sure your admission.

Pass your Bar Examination

Well, after you get out of law school, you cannot assume yourself a lawyer, and you cannot start practicing it. You have to first pass the bar examination; then you will be declared as a professional lawyer.

Only after you pass the bar exam, you will be able to start your law firm.

In case you fail to pass the exam, you can start practicing it with some firm to get the experience of the field in the meantime. However, you are officially a lawyer only when you get through this examination successfully.

Conclusion

If you want to become a lawyer, you must have a proper direction in which you want to go.

You have to do all the above things in sequence to earn this profession, and then work even harder to justify yourself for being the right person for this field. So, learn about them, and follow them in the most dedicated way possible.

Today's story summary

I and Zoë head for the water, and using a stick of wood, I dive into the water (I can’t swim apparently), and manage to get away, but I can’t head back because the stone beast is still there.  I spot a cave behind a waterfall, and (after some teasing from Zoë) I head into the cave, and discover that it is inhabited by a forgotten race of “cave people” (R.L. named them, not me.), and they take you to see their king, who provides me with a challenge to make up for your trespassing – you must find three pieces of gold within a time limit, and bring them to him, or I will become his slaves.

Today's summary Of Deep in the jungle of doom.

I run to the clearing, and strangely enough, the stone beast seems scared of this area, and leaves me alone.  Explore the clearing and find a table, which is decorated with shrunken heads, and has a basket of fruit on top.  Soon, I am unable to resist taking a nice bite of the fruit, as if I am powerless to resist, but when I finish it, I start to feel strange, and Zoë, after appearing concerned for a few seconds, suddenly runs away from me.  I realise that she ran because, I am not human anymore – I am some kind of strange fish like monster!  I hear someone approaching, and (if I decide to wait) it turns out to be a kid named Ben, who is another member of the Junior Explorers.  Thankfully, he knows that I am  really a human, because of a pamphlet he read (it’s not as contrived as it sounds), which talks about a tribe of medicine men, who leave enchanted fruit out to turn people into monsters.  The pamphlet also explains how to reverse the process, by another fruit, so I have to find it (the fruit, not the pamphlet).....

Artificial intelligence

Related Articles

Hello 👋 everyone

I am back your favourite and one and only Diksha Yaduvanshi with a new blog but in the form of an interesting speech on the topic ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE....

What is Artificial Intelligence?Artificial intelligence refers to the simulation of human intelligence in a machine that is programmed to think like humans. The idea of artificial intelligence initially begins by the computer scientist from 1943 to 1956. A model proposed by Alan Turing which is known as the Turing test. A Turing test is an algorithm that computes the data similar to human nature and behavior for proper response.

Since this Turing test proposed by Alan Turing which plays one of the most important roles in the development of artificial intelligence, So Alan Turing is known as the father of artificial intelligence. This test is based on the principle of human intelligence defined by a machine and execute the task simpler than the human.

The goal of artificial intelligence includes learning, reasoning, and Perception. As technology advances the machine that calculates basic operation recognized by a specific type of system which requires a machine to optimize through embodied artificial intelligence. So we can say that artificial intelligence is beneficial for different industries where machines are wired for performing complex tasks with the help of artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence approaches also in mathematics, computer science, linguistics, psychology, space science and so more.

Advantages and Disadvantages of AI

Advantages of artificial intelligenceDisadvantages of artificial intelligence
1.  It defines a more powerful and more useful computers1. The implementation cost of AI is very high.

2. It introduces a new and improved interface for human interaction.

2. The difficulties with software development for AI implementation are that the development of software is slow and expensive. Few efficient programmers are available to develop software to implement artificial intelligence.
3. It introduces a new technique to solve new problems.3. A robot is one of the implementations of Artificial intelligence with them replacing jobs and lead to serve unemployment.
4. It handles the information better than humans.4. Machines can easily lead to destruction if the implementation of machine put in the wrong hands the results are hazardous for human beings.
5. It is very helpful for the conversion of information into knowledge.
6. It improves work efficiency so reduce the duration of time to accomplish a task in comparison to humans.

NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE CONCLUSION....👇

Artificial Intelligence will bring a huge revolution in the history of mankind. Human civilization will flourish by amplifying human intelligence with artificial intelligence, as long as we manage to keep the technology beneficial......
